reopening. The reason for this bug is different.
I have the same issue on SL10/AMD64:
Checking DLL ../unxlngx6.pro/lib/check_libvclplug_gtk680lx.so ...: ERROR:
/usr//lib64/libcairo.so.2: undefined symbol: FT_GlyphSlot_Embolden
dmake: Error code 1, while making '../unxlngx6.pro/lib/libvclplug_gtk680lx.so'
OOo built-in freetype is 2.1.4, but the system freetype is 2.1.10 (in my case).
They are incompatible. System cairo is thus unusable with the OOo's internal
freetype.
so:
- either update internal freetype to newer version
or
- check whether libcairo needs FT_GlyphSlot_Embolden and if so, disable its
usage. We also do not have --disable-cairo.
or some other solution?
