I even tried with a custom date format, which the existing documents created with the 1.9 beta used, and a new document's fields display properly. Oddly, on a different system (also a Suse 9.3 install, different patch set) I just tried inserting a new DocInformation:Modified field with a standard date format, and it caused all the DocInformation:Modified fields to start displaying correctly after a save. On a fresh copy of the document I also tried a simple do-nothing modification then saved. The field started displaying properly.
