2005 -------
I downloaded OOo 2.0.0 for LinuxIntel.

Unpacked tarball to: OOO680_m3_native_packed-2_en-US.8968

Entered RPM directory.

Deleted openoffice.org-gnome-integration-2.0.0-3.i586.rpm

Ran (per instructions linked from download page):

 rpm -Uvih *.rpm

Program returns:

error: failed dependencies:
        openofficeorg-core01 is needed by openofficeorg-redhat-menus-1.9.79-1

Removing the redhat-menus package (and, in fact, ALL the desktop_integration
packages) does not change this error.

What finally worked was to copy the redhat-menus file out of the
desktop_integration directory into the RPM directory.

This is not documented anywhere I could find. It's not in the included README,
nor in the web-based instructions file on the OOo site.

Please update the Installation Instructions so they are correct.
