2005 -------
The export to PDF creating a file that cannot be read by popular PDF readers is
very interesting.

The secondary issue of insufficient glyph fallback when the involved font
doesn't contain all the components required for a combined character doesn't
have a high priority because there is a simple workaround: Use a font that
matches the text, i.e. the font needs to contain all glyphs for the text.
