------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Mon Nov 21 11:33:23 -0800 2005 ------- I am also running WinXP SP2, and it may be related to internet access. As suggested, pasting unformatted text does not 'hang'. Since I am pasting only a portion of a web page, I am surprised that it would try to access the internet at all. Note also that I use a proxy that is configured in both Firefox and IE, so if OOo did not use either of their connection settings, it would be expected to fail when accessing the interent. Note that this assumed failure does not change the inserted html text. It looks unchanged, but takes 2 minutes to paste. Q: Is there a way to see if OOo is hanging on an internet request? Either though OOo itself or using a tool (e.g. from sysinternals.com)? --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
