The program shouldn't end up with "General error".
If the spreadsheet is not supported, program should
1, state it clearly ("Not a valid DATABASE file" or so)
2, or even don't allow opening the spreadsheet file type either.
"General error" means nothing but plain scare for ordinary user. He dosen't
know, what's wrong and feels like "program generally dosen't function".
