------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Mon Feb 7 03:15:43 -0800 2005 ------- I have a MS WOrd document which is quite lengthy and containing different word styles [Heading 1, 2, 3 being used, a custom style 'SubHead', the TOC styles for different levels etc.] I opened this document in OO.o writer. What I got was - When I looked at the Table of Contents it was reduced to a small list. A closer look [In the Assign Styles of Index and Tables dialog] revealed that Writer was not considering Headings 1, 2, & 3 for the purpose of making the Table of Contents. As far as what I did in MS Word, I had mentioned what all styles are to be considered for creating the TOC in its options. Also the styles Heading 1, 2, & 3 were already set at Outline Level 1, 2, and 3 from the setting Paragraph > Outline Level [which defaults to level 1 for Heading 1 and so]. The styles were outline numbered and set to the required levels in the Numbering also. Interestingly the preview of Index and Tables was showing the proper TOC . --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
