I've rebuilt transex3 with the change from ivo17 and officecfg (with the
comment) on AMD64. No crash. No warning.
I diffed the outputs of old cfgex with removed comment and new cfgex with
comment in place. The only difference is an additional newline in the new output
(at the place where the comment was ignored by the new cfgex).
