------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Wed Nov 30 05:41:45 -0800 2005 ------- Perhaps this is a problem of all OO components. As I do not want to have the quick launcher on - Open Office takes quite a while to start (IBM ThinkPad X30 1.2 GHz, 500 MB RAM). So first comes the splash window. In the meantime I work in another application, so I click on that application to continue work. Then the OO takes the focus again, and as the file I open is quite big - I can not switch back to my other application for quite long, and OO displays a grey screen with a 'Load file' progress indicator at the botton of the screen - completely useless moment to take the focus. I click again my other application to continue working. After some time OO takes the focus for thrid time, and again takes quite long to do something (adjusting row hegith). I do not see why OO should take the focus at all if I, after launching OO, have changed the focus myself. If I want to wait for OO - it can take the focus. But if after the launch I have changed the focus - obviously I do not think at this moment OO important enough and I do not see why it should take the focus two times. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
