The distribution of OO2.0.1 uses "packages" to install it.

Not everyone has roor access to the system they work on.

I have been using OO1.1.x for sometime, but the compnay
will not yet load it on the central system, so I load it
in my home directory and use it from there!!!

I can no longer do this. I feel there should be a away
to allow non-root installation? Just like 1.1.x did.

This could be blocking a number of people that may want to
try oo2.x because they are not system managers. I feel this
is quite important as we could be stopping compaines from
converting to OO2.x from other products because thay can't
try it. OR they use it at home but the office does not have
it installed.

regards

Russel
