SBA: Adjusted summary for accuracy (Nothing is broken) ...and political
correctness (please sware in private mails only). Old summary: "Global replace
broken: capitalization is dumb".... :-(
The fact that MS Word is "smarter" (to use your terms :-) in this case, does
raise user's expectations. But is makes "works as (differently) designed" not
automatically a defect.
Feel free to discuss this with the two "main" groups in the wide world of OOo:
There is "the MS lovers" (=> "...all MS is good and a must") and "the MS
allergics" (=> "...all MS is evil and must be solved totally different... :-)
Please note that finding a community developer willing and able to built this in
is kind of the only guarantee that it will be built in in the foreseeable
future.
I regard this a meaningful enhancement and will proceed this issue accordingly.
