Please, attach a file that we could evaluate and reopen it.
It's hard to reproduce without data.
Remember, OOo can't handle and/or support all layout features and/or formatting
attributes from MS Office. (See the item 'Microsoft Office - document import
restrictions' on OOo Help).
I'm closing this one now. When the reporter attach a document to test, this
could be reopen.
