------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Fri Dec 9 06:31:21 -0800 2005 ------- In writer it is possible to create an index table of contents (TOC) for the entire document or for a chapter, where chapter means outline level 1. Now consider a document with the following structure and TOC respectively: ---------------------------------- Main section 1 (Outline level 1, no numbering) 1 Chapter 1 (Outline level 1, numbering) 2 Chapter 2 (Outline level 1, numbering) ... Main section 2 (Outline level 1, no numbering) 1 Chapter 1 (Outline level 1, numbering) 2 Chapter 2 (Outline level 1, numbering) ... ----------------------------------- At present, for this structure it is not possible create TOCs for chapters only, because the chapters are actually level 2. So the request for enhancement is to implement TOCs for arbitrary subchapters of level>1. This could be controlled either by an additional entry in the Edit-Index-Dialogbox that specifies the level or simply by looking at the level where the index is in and just generate the TOC for the related subchapters. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
