It turned out that there is a quite simple way to fix the problem: make sure
that all special treatments applied to "hidden" documents are removed
immediately when the container window is set to visible. Fortunately there is a
direct synchronous notification inside the method that makes the window visible
so that everything can be arranged immediately. We also can remove the "Hidden"
attribute from the arguments of the model.
