I am able to close the toolbar using the close button. Re-checking on KDE, the bar will still not close using the button and, furthermore, I cannot operate any controls on the toolbar, although "tips" appear when the mouse pointer hovers over the controls. I cannot grab the toolbar or make it fade to the title bar only. View /Toolbars works to open and close the toolbar. The same problems occur with other supposedly floating toolbars. I have checked the KDE control for Window behaviour but can find nothing there. Altering focus settings makes no difference.
