I mistook that statement as a single case. Sorry about that... BTW you have described the "File open" case, in which the web page is loaded directly in Writer. You have pointed out the problem when the Internet connection is lost (because Writer does not have cache like a browser). Fair enough. But I did not have such an application of Writer in mind. Rather, the desired scenario is like this: The user is able to channelize (copy+paste or equivalent) the text+images in a new file in Writer. Once that is done, the ENTIRE info is actually on the hard disk (At this moment, this is exact equivalent of a newly created odt file that is not saved yet.) Now the info is under full control of Writer. Even if the PC crashes at this moment, OOo would be able to recover the unsaved file; so there is no data loss at all. Integration of Writer and browser functionality is not required really.
