Such an object can be activated only on Windows system, since MSOLE API is supported only on Windows system. The only thing that might be done by OOo ( in later versions ) is that on activation of such an object, the office can try to show the content without possibility to edit it. The only way to edit an MSOLE object in MSOffice document, is to configure the office in the way that such objects are imported on document opening and exported on saving ( in result when a MSOffice document is open all the MSOffice OLE objects are converted to OOo object, so that they can be edited even on Linux, on storing they are converted back to MSOffice objects ). This behaviour can be controlled using options dialog Tools/Options.../(Load/Save)/Microsoft Office ( please see the documentation for datails ). I am closing the issue, since it seems to be just a result of wrong office configuration. Please reopen it, if it is still not possible to import OLE MSOffice objects from MSOffice document even in case the mentioned feature is configured correctly. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
