I tried to duplicate this by taking a random doc file, "junk.doc", and renaming
it to "junk", without the .doc extension. In both cases the file opened just
fine. Perhaps this is a mozilla bug rather than an OpenOffice bug?? I am using
OOo 2.0 on Fedora 4 linux.
