hey.
i have stumbled upon a big problem.
i have a document (*.doc) with a lot of tables, downloaded from polish court.
there are some important differences in displaying it in ms word and writer.
as the text is written in polish, let me quickly say where are the problem
fields:
- gray field on the top left of page 1

ms word: it says KRS-ZK
writer: it says ZK ZK

- 9th line of text - header of one table cell
ms word: correct polish letters CZĘŚĆ 1
writer: unrecognizable characters CzêœæI

- 11th line of text - inside of the above mentioned cell
ms word: to the right of check boxes, there's a number 1. Organu, then 2.
Wspolnikow
writer: to the right of check boxes, there's no number and then Organu,
Wspolnikow etc

- 34th line of text - header displayed in capital letters
ms word: Część II
writer: CZÊŒÆII

this problem shows up in every similar table cell (ms word shows the numbers,
writer doesn't)

- end of line 1
ms word: the last lane of text reads: 4. Nowy sposób reprezentacji podmiotu
writer: this above last line of text is visible on page 2 of document

finally, the document opened in ms word document has 2 pages and in writer - 3.

as i'm using Ooo and don't have ms word at home, i'm providing with with
attachment of pdf file (that has the same layout as doc in ms word)
complementing the doc file (which u can open in both applications).
I would like to mentioned, I have Ooo 2.0 pl by ux.pl and the remaining polish
characters are displayed correctly.

merry x-mas!
