As a shortcut to undocking maybe "What do you need a title-bar for when the window is docked?" Because you maybe faced with a load of icons that may mean very little to a user. "How would that be useful at all?" As an aide memoire to what toolbar you are currently looking at maybe. If it really is this abhorant to you then don't do it, but I considered it a useful usability point.
