User pl changed the following: What |Old value |New value ================================================================================ Status|NEW |STARTED -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Target milestone|OOo Later |OOo 2.0.2 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Wed Dec 21 00:56:53 -0800 2005 ------- The problem is that the fontconfig documentation does not specify the encoding (which is why i assumed it was in the current locale) of the strings it returns. But looking into pango i see that strings do not seem to get any treatment before goint up to gtk which in turn handles all strings as UTF8, so i assume, that indeed UTF8 should be the encoding on all systems using fontconfig. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
