------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Fri Dec 23 01:01:19 -0800 2005 ------- Can someone give a list of characters that get not displayed? Or even better check (via Tools/Catalog) if only those characters are affected that use the StarSymbol font. For example I suspect charcters like %ALPHA will work fine because it usess the "Times New Roman" (because essentially it is a latin letter as well) whereas %DELTA (which is a greek letter only and thus is not available in Times New Roman) makes use of the StarSymbol font. Also the problem might be that probably all of those charaxcters are located in the "Private Use Area" of the font (see also Tools/Catalog using the Edit Symbols dialog). If that would be the case there might by a work-around for the problem: It might be worthwhile to install a new font (not StarSymbol) that has all the Greek characters in the non priavte use areas of the font (that's probably the case for all fonts that are specialized for Greek). After having done this you should use the Edit Symbol dialog and redefine all greek characters to use the symbols from that new font instead of StarSymbol. I think there might be a good chance that this will work. It would be nice if someone who has this problem could drop a note here if this works.
