------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Mon Dec 26 13:47:02 -0800 2005 ------- When an image is embedded in an Excel document with a modified brightness or contrast level, those levels become permanent when the document is openned in Calc. Changing the levels from within Calc cannot bring the image back to its original look since the image itself has been modified instead of just the image properties information. Openning the .ods file and looking in the Pictures directory confirms this change. This problem occurs with embedded images in Calc but not Impress or Writer. Attached are sample files showing image property dialog boxes, the original Excel document, a Calc document created from the Excel document, and an Excel document created from the Calc document created from the Excel document. Microsoft Office 2000 was used to create the initial sample Excel file and OpenOffice.org 2.0.1 was used for all the convertions. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
