again: It is not a problem of missing directories in the package. If that would
be the case, everyone would get these messages. Adding the directories would
only be a (bad) workaround.

The real solution is to solve the problem itself, not to hide the symptoms. The
problem here is migration of old settings during first start of the office.
This import apparently doesn't take enough care of versions build by
distributions (the path the error shows never was part of "official" OOo).

So what needs to be fixed is the stuff that reads and merges the configurations.
For this to be easily achieved, we need a reliable way to reproduce the error.

So please try to create step-by-step instructions on how to reproduce. Start
with uninstalling OOo, remove all configuration-directories (if you made
setting you intend to preserve, make backup-copies) (look at ~/.openoffice* and
~/OpenOffice*). Then install the official version. (just to verify that you
don't get the error when you freshly install OOo).

Remove the official version again and install the version you had previously
installed. (launch it, close it)
Then update to the current version as you did when writing the issue. Launch OOo
 - do you get the error? - if yes, then we have a way to reproduce.
