requirements" is shown during the Windows Installer Standard Actions
"CostInitialize", "FileCost" and "CostFinalize". The Windows Installer
calculates the required and the available disc space. Concerning to your
description, I would assume that you have a very large network and the
calculation of the available disc space requires a very long time. I do not
know, whether it is possible, that a network configuration can cause the Windows
Installer to hang-up.
