I solely fixed point 1 (i.e., stacks that involve expat). The difference on
unxlngi6.pro SRC680m148 can be seen as follows:
Before fix:
> rm -rf <UserInstallation>/user/registry/cache
> LD_PRELOAD=libsalalloc_malloc.so.3 valgrind --tool=memcheck --leak-check=yes
soffice.bin
... definitely lost: 289804 bytes in 3285 blocks
After fix:
> rm -rf <UserInstallation>/user/registry/cache
> LD_PRELOAD=libsalalloc_malloc.so.3 valgrind --tool=memcheck --leak-check=yes
soffice.bin
... definitely lost: 45404 bytes in 370 blocks
