I'm not sure if this is a defect or is by design. When I Select a word, Copy the
selection, and then Paste it elsewhere, the Paste invariably adds a space before
the word I wanted to paste. Now, since in most cases I have already typed a
space after the previous word before pasting, I wind up with two consecutive
spaces. I don't remember this as a problem until now. In any event, I find it
most annoying.

Let me explain in case the above isn't clear:
Let's say I have the words: "The big dog has a<space>", and I then Cut the word
"collar" from another place and Paste it after the <space>, the result will be
"The big dog has a<space><space>collar".
