I have opened them and the behaviour is confirmed. I unzipped them and this is the result: [EMAIL PROTECTED]:~/Test_OOo$ ls test_32 Configurations2 META-INF mimetype settings.xml Thumbnails content.xml meta.xml Pictures styles.xml [EMAIL PROTECTED]:~/Test_OOo$ ls test_64 Configurations2 META-INF mimetype styles.xml content.xml meta.xml settings.xml Thumbnails As you can see in the 64bit created file the directory "Pictures" is missing. In the directory "Thumbnails" on the other hand, the png file created by the 64bit version is corrupted, while the one of the 32bit OO.o Writer is fine. I have attached the diff of every textfile in the directories, created with diff -uprN. The diff are attached to this message. I know AMD64 is still experimental, so I'd like to help somehow :) kendy: I have not tried with .doc files.
