According to http: //en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Talk:Dhivehi_language, 'Dhivehi' is the form transliterated according to pronouncation. The 'Divehi' form is transliterated according to written form in Thaana. Which transliterating is more authoritative? 'Dhivehi' is English transcription from pronouncation only but it is widely used in Maledives. 'Divehi' is the legal name of this language in Thaana transcribed according to appropriate Thaana graphemes. I think, 'Dhivehi' is in this case form used in local - so it is the cause for localizators to Divehi language (sure, it will be in Thaana, but for clearness) which should translate the 'Divehi' string as 'Dhivehi'. There should be 'Divehi' in international (English) strings in this matter because it is the written transcription from appropriate correct legal written form in Thaana. If language teams decide, that 'Divehi' in English is 'Dhivehi' in their language, they should translate it as 'Dhivehi'. If not, they should translate it as 'Divehi'.
