When I select the field layout in the wizard with the label above the field,
even though the field is sized larger than the label, the label truncates. It
seems that the formula for label size is about 1/2 that of the field width.

We should be able to manually resize the labels for a field or else at least
have the system honour the width of the field. For example, if I drag the field
out to half the screen, the label above it should display to at least the same
width as the field it labels!
