Oh no. I'm so sorry Laurent.

I did not check myself, the latest dicOOo (with OOo 2.0.1 Mac X11 it's DicOOo
1.5.3)...
It actually does have support for installing dictionaries to user directory.
Damn, should always check first.

I guess I misunderstood what the problems were that the people were having.

....

Tested installing dictionaries and it worked well. The DicOOo also warned
correctly when the share/dict/ooo directory was read only.

However, related to my discussion above, I think the default choice should be
"current user setup" not "administrator setup", which is default now.

Also, is the user directory hardcoded path or is it looked up from OOo settings?
I'm asking this, because in OOo 2.0.2 Mac X11, the user directory will be
changing from "~/.openoffice.org2" to "~/Library/Application
Support/OpenOffice.org 2.0"

Thanks, Laurent, for making excellent DicOOo!
