Now I just select everything on my A5 design page and group it. Then I copy and paste it into a landscape A4 design page (another document). Depending on the numbering of the page, I either right- or left-align it. For example, pg. 1 (of the eight A5 pages) must be right-aligned and pg. 8 (of the eight A5 pages) must be left aligned on the first landscape A4 design page. After I have done this for all the pages in my A5 brochure, i.e. essentially putting two portrait A5 pages on one landscape A4 page, I then print out my landscape A4 document. A more concise example: a5-doc1: - 8 portrait A5 pages a4-doc2: - 4 landscape A4 pages a5-doc1, pg.1 -> a4-doc2, pg.1, right-aligned a5-doc1, pg.8 -> a4-doc2, pg.1, left-aligned a5-doc1, pg.2 -> a4-doc2, pg.2, left-aligned a5-doc1, pg.7 -> a4-doc2, pg.2, right-aligned a5-doc1, pg.3 -> a4-doc2, pg.3, right-aligned a5-doc1, pg.6 -> a4-doc2, pg.3, left-aligned a5-doc1, pg.4 -> a4-doc2, pg.4, left-aligned a5-doc1, pg.5 -> a4-doc2, pg.4, right-aligned Anyway, when I do this the margins are just perfect-- 1.5cm around and 3cm between. This is yet another proof that it's not my printer that's the problem. Oh yeah, I also tested OO.org Writer's brochure feature using a very similar scenario as the OO.org Draw scenario this issue describes. OO.org Writer worked fine-- margins were just right.
