HP is investing resources in open source efforts to improve the support for
devices within Linux. HP offers a large list of printer drivers with improved
features and functionalities (HPLIP / HPIJS) running under CUPS. I suggest an
alternative for printing directly - with "or" without "spadmin" (a setting that
the user could handle). So, the user, entering a printer command (in this case
"kprinter"), like we do under firefox. I think no one can deny that the drivers
supported by HP are the best, just like OpenOffice is the best office suite and
it needs the best printing features under linux.

My S.O.:
Kubuntu Linux
OOo2.0
CUPS
HPLIP/HPIJS
Printer: HP Photosmart 7260

Thanks you all. You have made a great job.
