I also run an ATI graphics card (as reported in bug 60196). However, I think it is unlikely that it is a problem with the graphics driver, because the problem shows up also in pdf files that are created via 'export to pdf'. I'll attach a pdf file generated in this way. Maybe it's a Debian issue?
