I posted the original issue 2977 as a DEFECT almost exact 4 years ago and its still not fixed. I get the impression that the developers have never really understood how Autofilters work in MS Excel and Lotus 1 2 3 (both of which I've personally tested) and more importantly how most users use them. They therefore got the design wrong in the first place and refused to accept it is wrong ever since.
