------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Tue Jan 24 11:56:39 -0800 2006 ------- This bug applies to headers as well. STEPS: - From the FILE menu, navigate to the NEW submenu to create a new TEXT DOCUMENT - From the INSERT menu, navigate to the HEADER or FOOTER submenu and click on DEFAULT - Enter some text in the header or footer - From the INSERT menu, navigate to the HEADER or FOOTER submenu and click on DEFAULT to uncheck it - Select YES from the confirmation prompt - In the EDIT menu, the UNDO and RESTORE options will be disabled EXPECTED BEHAVIOUR: the ability to undo or restore deleted headers and footers by not having the options dimmed This problem occurs on both Windows and Linux platforms (Windows XP and Fedora Core 3) using Open Office 2.0. Although this bug may pose some inconvenience, perhaps this issue was intended to be somewhat addressed by the dialog box prompting for confirmation of the deletion. This prompt gives the user another chance to reevaluate his/her action. Deletions that can be undone usually aren't associated with such a prompt (EX. simple backspace deletions and table deletions) --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
