I installed OOo 2.0.1 on three XP Pro (Service pack 2) boxes on the same day. Two of the boxes were Dell Dimensions, and they had no problems. The third box was a homebrew Win XP Pro, freshly installed, and it did have this problem. The homebrew machine did not have Java installed, but the Dell machines did have Java installed. The problem was solved when I installed the OOo 2.0.1 w/JRE package.
