View -> Master -> Handouts no longer exists, so you CANNOT make your own theme. Why? I also agree with the users who have previously posted. The printing system SHOULD be more intuitive. If you are looking at the handouts, and you click print, THEY should print. If you are looking at the Notes, the same rule applies. I love the way OOo Impress is evolving, but it has a little way to go yet.
