------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Mon Jan 30 12:38:55 -0800 2006 ------- My master document of ~212 pages, with 41 chapters (1 file each), index, table of contents and a few pictures used to work in OpenOffice 1.1 - albeit slowly. Using OpenOffice_org-1.9.125-5 (shipped with SuSE OSS/10.0), it now takes fully 15 minutes to open (okay, I didn't use a clock, but it was more than 5). A minor change (setting the margins in the margins dialog -- without even clicking "Okay") has OOo powering away at 100% CPU, but no apparent progress. The documents and friends are at http://www.ledge.co.za/~andrewm/foop.zip http://www.oooforum.org/forum/viewtopic.phtml?p=121431 reports a similar bug, but it was never formally submitted, as far as I can see.
