The mails were getting accepted by the mail server on our end but due to an error in our network acl the mail servers were not able to deliver the mail to the sun sites . This has been corrected now and the mail should be flowing now. Give it a couple of hours and it should be done with processing all the mails. Thanks for your all your help.
