------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Wed Feb 1 14:42:19 -0800 2006 ------- Probably have not selected the right component subcomponent for this. I would love to be able to use OO Writer, but I must be able to export the files to word format. I can do that, but when I do and I open them in microsoft word, word eventually locks up and so does windows. It does not lock up immediately, but it does lock up. Sometimes after I have exited word, sometimes while I am still using word. Windows 98 and XP both lock up (sometimes when word locks and sometimes after I exit word) and it doesn't matter what version of word I am using. When I import word into writer and vice versa, there are some formatting issues (paragraph indentation, paragraph numbering, etc.) but nothing I cannot live with. It is the locking up of word/windows that I cannot live with. I am not sure I can get back to this forum (almost got here by accident), so if you could, please contact me at [EMAIL PROTECTED] Thanks. P.S. OO for linux and OO for windows does the same thing.
