OK, thanks for the feedback. Since it is not a problem of OOo, but a bug in the
version of freetype used on your system I'll close this bug.
I queried a bit and found:

If that is in the code, then it cannot work.
External issues usually are "invalid", but his time I'll close as worksforme
since people are likely hit this problem and shall not be scared away by the
status "invalid"...
