------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Mon Feb 6 01:25:01 -0800 2006 ------- I don't really mind either way, the intent of the original code was angled towards keeping memory consumption down rather than throughput speed, especially as the winword filter is *so* much faster than our own file format import filter :-0 But sprm processing is pretty much the winword import bottleneck, especially when tables and fastsaved documents are imported, so yeah stick it in as there's data which shows it makes a speed difference.
