I think it is sensible to aim for 2.0.3 and get this as good as possible, since the 16x16 is always on display in the Taskbar- and should look well polished. I have attached my (quick) attempt. The large 128x128 was scaled down to get the smooth curve. I then blended in the seagulls from the current small icon and pushed some pixels.
