------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Sun Feb 12 23:23:33 -0800 2006 ------- The folks at the University of the South Pacific have developed a spell checker for the Fijian language (fj_FJ) for OpenOffice (it is currently listed on the Lingucomponent site). However, there isn't any way in the current OpenOffice 2.0 GUI to select the fj_FJ locale. We've resorted to telling people to rename the files from fj_FJ to fr_FR, edit dictionary.lst to add the fr_FR files, and select French (France) to use the dictionary. This works *fine*, but obviously doesn't make us (or the French!) feel too good. We've tried the "install new dictionaries" wizard (DicOOo 1.5.3), but it does not list the Fijian dictionary at all (another locale issue?). So it makes it difficult for users here to set up their environment. Please add fj_FJ Fijian (Fiji) to the GUI locale list. I'm guessing it is just an easy addition to some internal array? Thanks everyone!! Bill in Fiji --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
