2006 -------
Create a data set in Calc with two columns of data.  The right-hand column is
desired to be the horizontal axis of an XY chart.  Select the data and use the
Insert->Chart wizard to create an XY chart.  The left-hand column of data is
automatically used as the horizontal axis.  There is no way to change which
column of data is used for the horizontal axis, short of switching the relative
positions of the columns.
