User ace_dent changed the following: What |Old value |New value ================================================================================ CC|'davis_j' |'ace_dent,davis_j' -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Keywords| |oooqa -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Wed Feb 15 05:58:26 -0800 2006 ------- [Information copied from Issue 62067...] Using Draw: 1. Select Rectangle tool, draw rectangle. 2. Copy & Paste to duplicate this shape. 3. The duplicate is easily aligned to the same grid or an edge of the original rectangle. 4. Now select Basic Shapes > Rectangle, and draw a rectangle of same dimensions as first. 5. Copy & paste to duplicate. 6. This duplicate is very difficult to align with original shape or the grid. The more obvious element of this bug: duplicating the Basic Shape makes a shape that is difficult to align. But more importantly, the user would expect either tool to yield the same shape (rectangle) with the same properties and behaviour. Are these shapes generated with the same code, or does OOo have different code for drawing a rectangle depending on the tool selected?
