The problem is that the afm files contain wrong information; e.g. the afm file
for optima LT demibold cotains "Weight Regular". Regular is considered to be
"normal" weight (that is slighly less bold than medium).
The real problem is of course that Adobe used strings for the weight in the
first place. However we cannot very well work around files that simpy contain
wrong values.
