Hi,
the new (windows native) installer have been introduced in the OOo 2.0
release. StarOffice and OpenOffice.org have different modules for their
installer, they don't share the same strings. We do not translate the
OOo installer strings for our Sun provided languages. Jaquline and Andre
from the German community highlighted that the translation quality of
the German installer is bad. As the development goes on we need your
help to improve this situation for all Sun provided languages. I have
created several issues contain the installer strings in the file formats
sdf. Please review and update those strings if needed. It is also
possible to completly remove a language thus the installer apears in
English. This usually looks better than a mix of two languages.
