I downloaded OOo 2.0.2 RC4and saw the Gnome icons from industrial. I am
serious when I tell you, that I would have stopped using OOo if this was the
new icon set. Look at the difference between the default set and the gnome
set.

I removed the version of OOo that came with Ubuntu Linux 5.10 (Gnome) and
downloaded from www.openoffice.org because I couldnt stand the icons used in
Gnome. They make your produkt look like software for kids. The industrial
theme makes OOo look very unprofessional.

I know that OOo should detect its environment and adjust, but since most Gnome
based distro's come with OOo and the horrid industrial icons, users
downloading OOo from the official site should get the benefit of the original
icons.

I have worked A LOT with usability myself, and just dont believe that the
industrial set is a better choice for anyone than the icons from OOo 2.0.
